There are dozens of people involved in the day to day operation of your building. They include plumbing and heating specialists, gardeners, handymen, janitors, snow and waste removal workers, security experts, pest control and elevator technicians. Your Property Manager will arrange for most of these maintenance jobs, but it is often council members who must supervise and ensure to the best of their ability that the work is being done correctly and efficiently.
There are also serious incidences such as burst pipes that require immediate attention and alert council members can save time and mitigate damage by knowing what to do. It is therefore important that they keep a complete list of all people, including their addresses and telephone numbers, who help their building run smoothly.
